Internationally-acclaimed artist Bruce Munro premiered his largest artwork to date—an enormous multi-acre walk-through installation—at Sensorio in Paso Robles, California. Sensorio is a permanent venue space to host artist’s stunning outdoor exhibits.
Covering 15 acres of Paso Robles’ rolling hills, Bruce Munro: Field of Light at Sensorio utilizes an array of over 58,800 stemmed spheres lit by fiber-optics, gently illuminating the landscape in subtle blooms of morphing color, through which the public may stroll. In addition, guests will experience an entirely new, adjacent viewing area featuring Munro’s Light Towers. Created to celebrate Paso Robles’ extensive wine country environs, Light Towers features 69 towers composed of more than 17,000 wine bottles, illuminated with glowing optic fibers whose colors change to a custom musical score.

2022 Annual Santa Maria Christmas Parade of Lights
Parade entries are extremely creative and spectators are always wowed. Be sure to wear warm clothing (and maybe a blanket) since it is in the evening and the temperatures can drop once it is dark. You will also want to arrive early to find a good parking spot and viewing spot. Don’t forget your folding chairs and cameras. Come sing along with the many floats and bands participating in this parade!

Kick off Christmas in the Village of Arroyo Grande with this wonderful Arroyo Grande Village Tradition Immediately following the Christmas Parade there will be Caroling and the lighting of the Village Christmas Tree and a live Nativity Scene at the Harvest Church.

Visitors embark on a magical holiday light drive-through experience at the Elks Event Center with displays presented by local businesses and families.
Along with Christmas in the Country, we introduced Stuff the Stocking to bring awareness to pediatric cancer. While in line for the event, elves walk around with stockings for money donations. All proceeds go to the Golden Circle of Champions (GCOC) program that is devoted to raising awareness of childhood cancer and provides financial support to families enduring childhood cancer.

OVER 75 TONS OF SNOW! One of Central Coasts Largest Holiday Events!
Winter Wonderland is back for another exciting snow-driven event in Downtown Atascadero.
Atascadero’s Sunken Gardens and the entire downtown will be transformed into a magical snowy paradise! 75 Tons of snow will create a massive snow slide built by the Kiwanis Club of Atascadero, Cuesta Springs Ice Company & Premier Ag!  In addition, there will be two large snow pile areas for the kids! this event offers shopping from our downtown merchants to over 50 craft and food vendors. It has been rumored that Santa & Mrs. Claus will make an appearance at the massive snow slide area and Santa may even be the first to ride a sled down the slide, kicking off this fabulous event! If you miss Santa & Mrs. Claus at the snow slide, you can catch them at Historic City Hall until 8 pm. The North Pole entrance for Santa will be on the West Mall side of the building.
